Using Twitter Pitch Parties to Bait, Hook, and Catch an Agent (or Editor)
Presentation by Children’s Author Carolyn Leiloglou

You don’t have to be a social media maven to have success with pitch parties. No one knows this better than Carolyn Leiloglou who owes her children’s book writing career to Twitter. She connected with both her agent and editor at Pelican Publishing during two separate pitch parties—#PitMad and #Pit2Pub. Now she’s showing other aspiring children’s book authors how they too can “catch” an agent or editor by sending them the manuscripts they actually want.
This presentation includes tips on how to know if pitch parties are right for you, Twitter basics, how to craft the perfect pitch (the “hook”) and what to do when someone bites.”
NO NEED TO REGISTER. FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
